BLT Pasta Salad

Pasta salad based on popular sandwich. Salad created by combining cooked pasta with chopped vine-ripened tomatoes, crumbled bacon, and shredded lettuce. Dressing prepared from granulated sugar, cider vinegar, mayonnaise, light sour cream and Dijon mustard is drizzled over salad to complete this delicious pasta salad recipe.

Ingredients -
4 cups Cooked Shell Pasta
2 cups Tomatoes, cut up
4 strips Bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 cups Shredded Lettuce

Salad Dressing:
1 teaspoon Sugar
2 teaspoons Cider Vinegar
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/3 cup Light Sour Cream
1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard

Salt and Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste
 
Preparation:
Salad Dressing:

1. In small bowl, mix the sugar, cider vinegar, mayonnaise, light sour cream, and Dijon mustard.

2. Set aside.

Pasta Salad:

1. In a large serving bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chopped tomatoes, crumbled bacon, shredded lettuce.

2. Pour dressing over pasta, season with salt and pepper. Mix well.

3. Chill before serving.
