Italian Pasta Salad with Pepperoni and Bell Pepper

Cooked Rotini pasta combined with thinly sliced pepperoni, broccoli florets, chopped red or green bell pepper, whole pitted black olives, and sliced cremini mushrooms. Pasta salad is tossed with Italian dressing.

Ingredients -

1 (16 ounces) package Rotini
8 ounces Pepperoni, thinly sliced
2 cups Broccoli Florets
1/2 cups Red or Green Pepper
1/2 cups Black Olives
1 cup sliced Cremini Mushrooms
1 (8 ounces) bottle Italian Dressing

 
Preparation:

1. Cook the rotini and drain. Rinse with cold water.

2. Combine the rotini pasta, pepperoni, broccoli, pepper, olives and mushrooms.

3. Add dressing and toss.

4. Cover and chill in refrigerator.

Cremini Mushrooms

Cremini or crimini mushrooms are button mushrooms that are still immature but whose flesh has darkened and the texture has hardened slightly. These mushrooms are good raw as well as for use in hot dishes. The cremini mushroom when allowed to mature becomes a portabello or portabella mushroom.
