Pasta Salad Making Tips -
Parmesan Cheese
Parmesan is a hard cheese that can be purchased in small blocks at delicatessens, cheese shops and supermarkets. The fresh cheese taste and texture is ideal for use in salads as it livens
up the somewhat neutral flavor of pasta and vegetables.
Pasta Salad Making Tips -
Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
Extra-virgin olive oil can be found in most supermarkets. The oil is the most flavorful and most expensive of the olive oils. Choose a high quality olive oil and use in its raw form in salads,
and dressings. Purchase a lesser grade of olive oil, if necessary for use in dishes requiring heat or where the flavor of the oil may be lost in the cooking method or other ingredients.
